• Date: June 6th, 2025

• Location: Sportsplex Bakersfield – 6825 Ming Ave

• Check-in: 4:00 PM (Be there by 3:30 PM)

• Start Time: 5:00 PM

• Entry Fee: Free

• Player Limit: 40 total players + 2 goalkeepers (not included in count)

💰 Prize Pool – $1,000 Total

• 1v1 Champion: $500

• 6v6 Winning Team: $500 (split between 5 outfield players – goalkeeper not included)

• Goalkeeper Battle Winner: $150 (Both players receive $50 and battle for an additional $100)   

• Crowd Penalty Challenge Winner: $150

  • A random spectator gets to take a penalty kick. If they miss, another person from the crowd steps up until someone wins.

🥷 1v1 Freestyle Rules (Top Baller Format)

Game Format

• Players compete in 6 rounds:

  • Qualifying Rounds

  • Money Round (Round of 16)

  • Quarter-Finals

  • Semi-Finals

  • Final

Game Setup

• Players alternate as attacker and defender

• Attacker starts with a 1-2 pass with defender

• 15 seconds to score

• First to 3 points advances to the next round

Scoring Points

As an Attacker:

• Score a goal: +1 point

•  

As a Defender:

• Stop attacker from scoring: +1 point

• Block or shield the ball out of play: +1 point

• Take full control of the ball: +1 point

Fouls & Violations

• Dangerous or intentional fouls: automatic disqualification

• Deliberate handball: automatic disqualification

• Accidental handball:

  • 1st: Rerun

  • 2nd: Point to opponent

  • 3rd: Disqualification

• Accidental fouls (e.g., slips):

  • 1st: Rerun

  • 2nd: Point to opponent

  • 3rd: Disqualification

👟 6v6 Breakdown

• Teams & Players:

  • 8 teams total

  • 5 players per team (4 outfield players + 1 sub)

  • 2 dedicated goalkeepers will rotate and play for all teams

  • Goalkeepers are not included in the 40-player total

• Format:

  • Knockout tournament style

  • Quarterfinals: 10-minute games

  • Semifinals: 15-minute games

  • Final: 20-minute game

👟 6v6 Rules

• Traditional futsal-style play

• 5 outfield players + 1 goalkeeper

• Matches are short and fast-paced ()

• Emphasis on teamwork, flair, and ball control

Note: Goalkeepers from 6v6 do not share in team winnings. Instead, they compete in:

🧤 Goalkeeper Showdown – $150 Prize

The two goalkeepers assigned for the 1v1 matches will face off in a special Goalkeeper Showdown.

• Throughout the 1v1 rounds, both keepers will take turns defending during the matches.

• Saves will be tracked and counted during the tournament.

• At the end of the event, the goalkeeper with the most saves will be crowned the winner of the Goalkeeper Showdown and awarded $150 in cash.

This not only keeps the goalkeepers engaged all day but gives them their own moment of glory — because goalies deserve love too.

🎯 Crowd Penalty Challenge – $150 Prize

• One lucky spectator from the crowd is randomly selected to take a penalty kick

• If they score, they win $150

• If they miss, another person gets a shot — until someone wins
